"I approached Jennifer for help with my highly reactive dog, who had become so reactive I was uncomfortable walking her anywhere, including in my own neighborhood. Upon meeting Jennifer, my dog sensed Jennifer’s kind soul and instantly fell in love with her. Jennifer took the time to get to know me and what my concerns were; she thoroughly evaluated Taylor’s personality in order to identify the triggers for her reactivity. After identifying the issues that needed to be corrected, Jennifer provided me with a reasonable plan of action and timeline for what we both hoped would be noticeable improvement. Taylor and I worked with Jennifer for several months and I was amazed at the the transformation in my dog and the reduction in her reactivity. We met at multiple locations to expose Taylor to new and different environments and during each training session Jennifer provided me with instructional tools and cues that built on previous concepts. This kept Taylor motivated and interested to improve and the tools/instruction Jennifer provided were also practical to use on a daily basis. Jennifer also explained how to continue with the tools we’d learned to refresh Taylor’s memory and reinforce positive behaviors. I was very pleased with the progress we made in each training session and Taylor is now a manageable dog that can be walked with confidence. I highly recommend Jennifer––she was an exceptional trainer to work with.
